First Thursdays Downtown is a monthly evening art walk featuring gallery exhibitions live music local artist showcases shops and restaurants. The event brings together the arts community and culture enthusiasts on the first Thursday of each month. Free admission and open to all.

Muncie Civic Theatre operates a full theatrical season featuring Broadway musicals contemporary dramas classic comedies and specialty productions. Ball State’s School of Art operates multiple galleries showcasing student artwork faculty creations and traveling exhibitions. Regular openings and changing exhibitions provide continuous exposure to contemporary and traditional visual arts. Free admission and public access.
