The Cardinal Greenway is Indiana’s longest rail-to-trail paved pathway extending 62 miles across five counties from Richmond through Muncie to Marion. The smooth asphalt surface accommodates walkers runners cyclists rollerbladers and wheelchairs. The trail is free open dawn to dusk and passes through diverse landscapes including farmland woodlands and small towns. The Muncie segment includes portions of the White River Greenway connection and links to downtown shopping dining and attractions.
