White River Greenway

The White River Greenway is a paved walking and biking trail that winds 5-6 miles along the north bank of the White River as it flows through Muncie. Pedestrians enjoy intimate views of water-based wildlife including herons eagles and beavers throughout the year. The trail connects to the Cardinal Greenway and provides access to riverside parks picnic areas and fishing launch points. The route passes through natural forest environments with spring wildflower displays and hardwood foliage in autumn. Benches overlooks and small parking areas provide rest stops along the path.
