The Marilyn K. Glick Center for Glass Arts at Ball State University features three professional glass furnaces allowing students and artists to work with molten glass at 2500 degrees. The facility includes hot-shop stations for glass blowing cold-shop areas for finishing and display galleries showcasing student and faculty works. Public demonstrations and artists’ open studios provide opportunities to observe glass artists at work. The center teaches glassblowing glass casting and contemporary glass sculpture techniques to university students and professional artists. Rotating exhibitions display beautiful glass sculptures and functional art pieces.
